The short version, in plain language: MorseCodeVerse has no accounts, no forms, and no server that receives your data. The tools run entirely in your browser. The only data practices you should know about are described below — local storage on your own device, standard hosting logs, and the cookies used by analytics and advertising partners.

1. What runs on your device

Everything you type into the translator, transmit on the walkie-talkie, or play in the games is processed by code running locally in your browser. It is never uploaded, logged or seen by us.

Microphone features (the walkie-talkie receiver, the sonar, and similar Lab experiments) analyze audio in real time on your device to detect tones. The audio is never recorded, stored or transmitted — it exists only for the milliseconds needed to measure it. You grant microphone access through your browser or device and can revoke it at any time in your settings.

Camera flash — in the mobile app, the Translator's "Light" channel can blink your device's flashlight in time with the Morse. This uses only the torch: no photos or video are taken, and the camera image is never accessed.

2. Data stored in your browser

We use your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage to remember things like game high scores, daily-puzzle streaks and dismissed tips. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for morsecodeverse.com.

3. Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like virtually all web hosts, Cloudflare may process technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not receive or keep this data ourselves.

4. Analytics

We use (or may use) Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage — which pages are visited and how the site performs. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to distinguish visits. The reporting we see is aggregated and does not identify you. You can learn how Google processes this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

5. Advertising

The site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some other third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info/choices.

6. Children

MorseCodeVerse is a general-audience site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included — the site simply is not built to collect it.

7. Changes & contact

If this policy changes, the update will appear on this page with a new effective date. Questions? Reach the operator via the contact page or at [email protected].
